WHAT IS 0% AFTERSALES FINANCE?
Our 0% Aftersales Finance is provided by Bumper International Limited. Bumpers offering is one that was designed for the automotive sector, with the intention to ease the burden of the unexpected bill that you may have when your car is taken for a Service or MOT, or when the garage has carried out a vehicle health check. Whilst you may have budgeted for the original work, when your car needs more parts, this additional cost can make a dent in your finances, sometimes meaning that the critical work that your car needs to make it roadworthy is put off until you can afford this extra cost.
We are here to help. Spreading the cost of this work means that your car is roadworthy and you can remain driving safely, whilst paying for the work over an extended period.
Do You Carry Out A Credit Check?
Yes. When you apply we run a soft search to check your eligibility, which doesn’t affect your credit score. As PayLater is now regulated, we also carry out a proportionate affordability check to make sure the repayments are manageable for you. We report the status of your agreement to credit reference agencies each month, and your repayment history may be reflected in your credit file.
What If I'm Not Accepted?
You won’t be able to use PayLater on that occasion, based on our checks. Contact our support team if you’d like to understand more, though we can’t always share the detail behind a credit decision.
Can I have More Than One PayLater At A Time?
Possibly. Each PayLater is a separate agreement and is assessed on its own, taking account of any existing Bumper agreements and whether the new repayments are affordable for you.
What Can PayLater Be Used For?
Spreading the cost of car repairs, servicing, MOT, warranties and accessories. It’s up to each partner what they accept PayLater for, so please check with them first. However, PayLater may not be used for the purchase, lease or acquisition of a vehicle or funding any negative equity in any vehicle.
How Are My Payments Collected?
By recurring card payment from the card you provide, on the dates set out in your agreement, together with any other amounts due.
Do You Charge For Repaying Early?
No. There are no early repayment charges. You can repay anytime using the payment link at the bottom of our emails, or call 0800 612 0946.
What If I Miss A Payment?
A missed payment fee of up to the lesser of £20 or 10% of the total amount of credit may apply, and missed payments may affect your credit score. We understand circumstances change. If you think you might miss a payment, please contact us early and we’ll do our best to help.
How Do I Update My Card Details?
Call our support team on 0800 612 0946 (Mon-Fri 8:30am-6:00pm, Sat 9:00am-12:30pm).
What If I Can't Keep Up With My Payments?
Please contact our support team as soon as you can. We’ll aim to agree an arrangement to pay that’s manageable for you.
How Does A Repayment Arrangement To Pay Affect My Credit File?
We report the status of your agreement to the credit reference agencies each month. A repayment arrangement to pay is reported because the original terms have changed, but it isn’t recorded as a late payment.
What If I Need Extra Support, Or Help Understanding PayLater?
Yes, and you don’t need to wait until something goes wrong. If anything would help us support you, tell us as you go through your application: for example, if you’d like to be sure you understand how PayLater works before you commit, you need information in a different format, or you want us to know about a health condition, a bereavement, money worries or any other circumstance. You can also tell us at any time afterwards if things change. You only need to share what you’re comfortable sharing, whenever feels right, and we’ll treat it sensitively and in confidence. Jaybee Motors RECEIVES ELECTRIC VEHICLE ACCREDITATION
Jaybee Motors has received its Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation.
The Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) to recognise retailers’ excellence in the electric vehicle sector. EVA is endorsed by the Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Energy Saving Trust.
Following the success of EVA’s first year, which saw over one-hundred dealers obtain accredited status, the Government has renewed its co-sponsorship of the scheme.
The scheme encourages dealerships to further develop their ability in selling and servicing electric vehicles. It recognises dealers’ expertise in the electric vehicle sector and promotes industry standards for the benefit of the consumer.
Energy Saving Trust independently audits individual dealerships to verify that they meet a set of standards covering EV sales and aftersales. These include the customer qualification process, staff knowledge and training, EV demonstration and handover processes as well as availability of EV service bays and charge points on site.
