Loads of changes for Number One LCV range at Jaybee Motors

Renault's number one LCVLocal van operators will warm to news that Renault's New Trafic and New Master vans make working through dark, cold and wet days less of a chore — and safer, too.

Europe's number one LCV brand — Renault — has new versions of its trusted Trafic and Master ranges available now to test drive from Banbury Renault dealer Jaybee Motors.

The revised Trafic has already won 'Small Panel Van of the Year' at the What Van? Awards 2006, the third time the model has won this coveted title.

Both New Trafic and New Master have ABS (anti-lock) braking with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) as standard across the range, for controlled powerful braking in slippery conditions. They also have the option of adaptive ESP (Electronic Stability Programme), specifically designed for Light Commercial Vehicles.

Luxury-car touches like satellite navigation, plus automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers are now available on both New Trafic and New Master to ensure good visibility, making winter motoring safer and easier.

Security becomes increasingly important in the winter months, so it's reassuring to know all New Trafic and New Master vans have remote central locking with deadlocking and an insurance-approved (category 1) alarm and immobiliser. Optional three-way locking allows selective opening of different doors to foil opportunist thieves.

Steve Wyatt, Sales Manager at Jay-Bee Motors, said: "Hard-working local van drivers and owners will welcome the New Trafic and New Master ranges, which have safety, convenience and security features that may be familiar from their cars.

"They'll appreciate things like six-speed gearboxes and RDS radio and CD players with fingertip controls standard across the range. This is all in addition to more subtle improvements to the interior quality and quieter engines.

"The new vans are well worth checking out for anyone looking for a safer, more comfortable place to work."

For load lugging without effort, New Trafic and New Master vans have a new range of powerful and fuel-efficient engines.

For the award-winning New Trafic, the introduction of Euro 4 emissions standards brings new 90hp and 115hp versions of the 2.0 dCi engine with a six-speed manual gearbox or, as an option with the 115hp engine, a 'Quickshift6' automated manual transmission for more fuel efficient driving and a more relaxed driving experience in heavy traffic.

The 2.5 dCi engine is upgraded from 135hp to 150hp, while the 2.0 16V petrol engine has 120hp and also meets Euro 4 standards.

New Trafic, built partly in Britain at Luton, has five body styles to choose from, as well as Platform Cab versions and the six-seat Trafic Crew Van with short or long wheelbase versions, which offers room for six workers and up to 4 cubic metres of load space.

Master offers even greater choice — 13 combinations based on wheelbase, roof height, body type and payload.

It now comes with a new 2.5dCi engine with three power outputs: 100hp, 120hp and 150hp, each with a six-speed manual gearbox or Quickshift6.

New Trafic and New Master are available alongside the 2007 Kangoo Van and Clio Van. To find out more, contact Jaybee Motors.
