Renault introduces new entry-level Clio Freeway trim
Priced at just £7,488 on the road and available as a three-door only and in one engine, the 1.2 16V 75, Clio Freeway offers the practicality, interior space and style of the ever-popular supermini at a value-for-money price tag, £1,507 less than the current entry-level Clio three-door.
Impressive standard equipment for the price
Based on the Authentique entry-level trim which is currently only available on the five-door version, Clio Freeway marks the first time this trim will be offered in three-door on Clio.
New Clio Freeway boasts an impressive level of standard equipment despite its low price tag. In addition to core features such as a multi-function trip computer, R.A.I.D. (Renault Anti-Intruder Device) linked into the remote central-locking, six airbags, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and Brake Assist, Clio Freeway also comes with a 2 x 15W radio single CD with two speakers, two tweeters and fingertip remote control.
Exclusive Freeway badging
Clio Freeway will also be instantly identifiable with its exclusive silver 'Freeway' badges on the base of the B pillar in line with the rear windows.
It will be available in a choice of four colours – one non-metallic, Pacific Blue and three metallic, Mercury, Pearl Black and Flame Red.
On sale now
Insurance groups are expected to match the five-door at an extremely low 2E.
Renault’s lowest priced New Clio, Freeway, is available to order now at just £7,488 on the road. One engine choice is offered, the 1.2 16V 75 and it is only available in three-door form.
